Volunteer Hairdressers are experienced/qualified hairdressers who give their time to provide hair-cuts to clients free of charge in the West Care Centre. This role helps to provide a connection, links to support and a greater sense of wellbeing for our clients.

The primary responsibility of the Branch Commissioner Campsites revolves around establishing and maintaining regular communication channels with the Branch Leaders/Wardens overseeing our campsites. Your role goes beyond mere communication; you’ll provide ongoing support, guidance, and resources to the Branch Leaders/Wardens, ensuring they have the necessary tools and information to effectively manage their campsites.

This dynamic team install wildlife and possum boxes for our Wildlife Carers. The boxes in which we release our wildlife / possums are made of 19mm pine to provide the best insulation during our hotter summers but are therefore 6.5kg plus wildlife weight (up to 2kg). Ladders and harnesses are used to ensure safety for our installation team and training in best practice WH&S is also provided.

Are you concerned about the amount of rubbish on our coastline? Adopt a Spot are recruiting volunteers to nominate an area of coastline to manage the removal of marine debris. Tasks will include daily cleans, collation of data (taking pictures of marine debris & reporting back on data via email or social media), disposal of materials in accordance with Local Council rubbish/recycling guidelines and provide community education in sustainable practices.

As an Outreach Leader Gold Coast you will have the opportunity to manage the delivery of outreach shifts to ensure they operate as scheduled in each of the Gold Coast location. This is an exceptional role providing the successful candidate to motivate and lead the outreach shift teams, to provide connection to vulnerable girls and women in our community. 6 - 10 hours per week

As 4 Voices VAN CARETAKER you are required to help maintain facilities and servicing of the outreach services van, including - ● Van maintenance, stocking of supplies and cleanliness ● Replenishing stock ● Facilitating Van services and repair
