The BRIGHT Walk 2024 takes place on Saturday 6 July from 4pm–9pm. 2500 people will walk through the CBD and North Adelaide, raising money for medical research at SAHMRI through sponsorships from friends and family.

Boccia SA is holding our State titles from 8th until 10th June 2024 at The Lights Community and Sports Centre. We are seeking volunteers to help us time keep games via a app on iPads. You will be taught how to do the timekeeping. Each day starts at 8:30am and finishes by 5pm. You don't need to attend the whole day or every day if you can't commit for the entire weekend and there will be vouchers for all volunteers to get something from the cafe and lunch provided. Residents living at our Aged Care homes like to continue to connect with others and take part in some active walking with a supportive companion. We encourage our elderly residents to stay active and get out in the gardens and Aged Care Home grounds. Do you have some spare time to share and support our resident to connect and stay active? All volunteers must have the annual Influenza vaccination, the triple Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance to work with vulnerable persons.

We provide a safe space for people experiencing homelessness to sit, chat, and share a meal with other community members. Volunteering in the kitchen allows you to learn food preparation skills, work as a team, and give back to those who need it most!
