You will assist local experts identify, measure and map endangered plants at the reserve as part of the NSW Government's Saving our Species program.

This event lets you experience life as a ranger, and assist our local conservation experts with important wildlife monitoring – check and re-set wildlife traps, collect data on captured animals and help release the Eastern Barred Bandicoot's back into the wild.

Corporate Bushcare days involves a brief training induction followed by weeding mulching and planting and goes for about 4hrs with a break. Please wear suitable clothes and covered shoes. Help restore and maintain the Londonderry Woodland Reserve, a protected remnant of the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland, home to numerous rare and threatened plants and wildlife.

Reserve Hosts stay onsite on reserves for 1 – 2 weeks to support visitors and guests and act as a friendly, informative, and helpful face of Nature Foundation on our Reserves.
