A Warehouse Assistant supports the organisation by overseeing operational duties in the remit of ‘transport and logistics’. This could mean scanning materials as they arrive or leave the warehouse to maintain stock level records, moving items around from point A to B. Just assisting with the day-to-day running of a storage or logistics warehouse.

Our Wayville home team are calling out for some support. If you are keen to assist with some maintenance tasks we would love to hear from you. We would be happy with one shift a week or two, hours can vary depending on your availability and choice of tasks you're willing to do. Emu Community Children's Centre are looking for someone who can care for the outside environments of the childcare centre and assist with handy jobs around the centre.

As one of the Repair Volunteers, you will assist visitors to the repair cafe to: * fix their broken/damaged household items. You will already have the skills to fix one or more of the following: * electrical/electronic/mechanical items * clothing/bedding/other * textiles, jewellery, toys, woodwork, metalwork, bicycles, * and/or other general items You will be able to provide advice to visitors about whether specific items * can be fixed & the parts needed.

You'll be actively involved in caring for your local reservoir reserve and enhancing the experience for visitors. Activities include bushcare, revegetation, habitat improvement, biodiversity surveys (e.g. birds, frogs, plants), fish stocking and supporting community events.

Are you concerned about the amount of rubbish on our coastline? Adopt a Spot are recruiting volunteers to nominate an area of coastline to manage the removal of marine debris. Tasks will include daily cleans, collation of data (taking pictures of marine debris & reporting back on data via email or social media), disposal of materials in accordance with Local Council rubbish/recycling guidelines and provide community education in sustainable practices.
