Some of our elders at our Wayville home really wish to re-ignite their passion for music and in particular being part of a weekly choir. Do you have a few spare hours to visit once a week and get a choir group running enjoying the love of music?

Would you like to assist in preparing horses for lessons, leading horses in the lessons & working with riders with disabilities? If you like horses & are keen to help disabled people enjoy the thrill of riding a horse then this is the volunteer role is for you! They are also seeking volunteers Mon - Friday in the mornings to assist with the feeding of the horses. Having experience is an advantage. No experience? That's okay, training is provided! Well, Edwardstown Baptist Church (EBC) has a community centre where you are most welcome to volunteer & explore the various activities they have to find where you best fit. Whether its filling boxes with food for those in need, cooking, assisting in the op shop or taking care of the property, you will have people to work alongside & you will be supporting the community!

Hooded Plovers are small coastal shorebirds. Listed as vulnerable nationally, there are less than 800 of these birds in South Australia with only 22 breeding pairs found on the Fleurieu Peninsula. There are multiple ways that you can assist to protect these birds. Fleurieu Hoodie Helpers are needed to monitor a given pair of birds on a particular beach and report sightings of bird behaviour.
