Uniting provides door to door transport service to people who have no means of transport to medical appointments. We need reliable drivers to transport older people and those with disabilities or chronic medical conditions to and from health and medical appointments.

Connect with an elderly member of the community who is feeling isolated. Volunteers engage in ongoing visits in the individual’s home or an aged care facility. You will build a meaningful friendship; help reduce feelings of loneliness and encourage a social connection!

About us: MiCare is an Aged Care Organization, (formally known as DutchCare) based in both Victoria and Queensland. MiCare is a multi-cultural service provider, caring for many diverse groups, including refugees, migrants, and older people within their homes, in the independent living units, or at one of our Aged Care Facilities. Our services are offered state-wide in Victoria and in the lower regions of Queensland.

Music can heal, uplift and even transform lives but the people who need it most often have the least access to it. That is where A Sound Life comes in - we do all the legwork to make it easy for you to simply turn up and perform your music either live over Zoom or directly to patients by their bedside in hospitals. Our next Musician Training Day is happening on Sunday, April 28 from 10am-3pm at Together2, Rozelle in Sydney and via Zoom.

Provide companionship to an isolated senior. Through sharing your time, you will share their life journey. Be matched to an older person who is feeling isolated. You will help to improve their sense of self-esteem, and community connectedness. All it takes is up to two hours per week. Provide social support and companionship to a person aged 65 years and above. You will help to ease feelings of social isolation and brighten their day!
