About Pennant Hills Neighbour Aid Inc
Pennant Hills Neighbour Aid Inc (PHNA) is a NFP community service providing social support to the over 65 members of our community and their carers to alleviate social isolation and assist them to stay in their homes for as long as they feel that they are able.
Volunteers provide support and transport to allow clients to participate in community life and meet their personal and social needs. Eligibility is determined according to the Home and Community Care guidelines for residents of Cheltenham, Beecroft, Cherrybrook, West Pennant Hills, Thornleigh, and Westleigh. We are looking for volunteers who live in and around this area, with a full drivers licence to drive our elderly clients. We will re-imburse petrol costs.
We operate from a small office at Ramsay Rd Pennant Hills with a part time staff of 3. In the last financial year we provided over 5,000 hours of service to the community. We are proud of our more than 45 year history and are very much appreciated in our community. Please come and join the team :-)
