The Welcome Dinner Project

The Welcome Dinner Project (WDP) connects newly arrived people (migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and international students) with established Australians over potluck meals in local homes across Australia.

People from all backgrounds and abilities irrespective of religious belief are welcome to participate in Welcome Dinners, and they are free to attend.

Welcome Dinners are facilitated by trained volunteers, to create a safe and welcoming environment, enabling strangers to have the support needed to connect in meaningful ways.
