Busselton Volunteer Marine Rescue Group

About Busselton Volunteer Marine Rescue Group

Busselton Volunteer Marine Rescue Group runs from a state of the art Control Room housed in the Busselton Volunteer Marine Rescue Group's headquarters, located at the Georgette Street Busselton boat ramp.

Marine House has the latest radar, marine radios, weather station and is also equipped with an AIS (Automatic Identifying System) tracking device.

This is a volunteer organisation dedicated to "safety at sea" and our core function is rescuing people. Secondary roles we perform are assisting with yachting regattas, outrigger races, Busselton Jetty Swim, IronmanWA and whale rescues.

We extend a welcoming invitation to anyone interested in becoming a volunteer involved with our group.
