This will have you involved with helping folks collect bowls, prepare morning tea & other things that help the group facilitator. You don’t need to be a bowler, just like being around older people. ACH has a monthly movie gig – at Wallis Noarlunga Cinema. On the last Wednesday of the month, they are looking for someone to help welcome customers, help link them together in chat & assist with morning tea! As a Hand Massage and/or Nail Care Volunteer, you will help to provide provide companionship and meaningful engagement for older people in a residential care home. Spend time with residents talking and listening to their stories, while pampering them with a gentle hand massage and simple nail care (such as filing or nail polish).
