Meals on Wheels Fraser Community has been operating for 56 years in the local area, delivering 2500 each week to approximately 500 clients. Our volunteers find the experience of volunteering for MOW very rewarding, and many have been with us for more than 10 years, and have formed lifetime friendships with staff, volunteers and clients.

HOURS: - 10-15 Hours per week. PURPOSE OF POSITION: - To Coordinate volunteers at Meals on Wheels Fraser Community - Maryborough branch

We are seeking a volunteer to assist in mobilising residents in wheelchairs - transferring them from their rooms to the recreational room for activities, sitting with our residents during activities and returning them to their rooms following activities. Assist local seniors with tech-related queries and issues, such as smartphone, tablet, or computer troubleshooting. Suitable for people aged 16+ years, no previous work experience required. Volunteers have the opportunity to move to paid roles in the future.
