Having good social connections is essential for all aspects of health, especially as we age. The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) and Volunteer Visitors program supports older Australian’s who live in an aged care facility or their own home and who are lonely or socially isolated.

The No One Dies Alone (NODA) volunteer programme brings compassionate volunteers alongside aged-care residents who are in the end-stage of palliative care and accompanies them at the bedside until they pass away, so that no one dies alone. A most needed initiative demonstrating a community of care!

In select cafés across Perth, a special morning tea unfolds, designed exclusively for individuals living with dementia. This isn't just a gathering; it's a celebration of community, where everyone is embraced, socially active, and has the chance to forge new friendships.

We are seeking a Connect2You Facilitator to greet and connect with isolated and lonely older Australians who cess our essential service and 'drop-in' for a chat via Zoom.
