The Event Volunteer is the friendly and welcoming face of Genealogy SA at events and workshops both on site at the Genealogy Library and at other venues. He/she is responsible for promoting the Society as an organisation of choice in regard to family history research and membership. Two positions on the Albany Cemetery Board are available to be filled. The positions, which are for 5 year terms and commence on 1 July 2021. The Board is responsible for the care, control & management of the Albany Cemetery and members are required to attend Board meetings and to be active & willing to participate in Board projects and decisions. Meetings on the 4th Wednesday of the month commencing at 4pm in the Cemetery Chapel and last about an hour. Additonall time commitment varies.
