Then become a mentor, who spends an hour a week being a positive role model, listening and doing activities with a student for 1 hour each week during school hours during the school year. EdConnect Australia are seeking volunteers with general life skills to help young people in secondary schools who are at risk of disengaging in education.

Want to make a difference in the life of a young person? 1-2 hours a week is all it takes! The Merri-bek TAC L2P Program assists young learner drivers (aged between 16-21) who have no access to a supervising driver or vehicle, to gain the driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence. Volunteer mentors support young people to gain supervised driving experience in an L2P car - no cost to young people or volunteers. Volunteers undertake comprehensive VicRoads training.
