We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. The Sound Mentoring Program provides music mentorship to at-risk young people, helping them to achieve their potential as artists and human beings. Come and join us as mentor! We will provide you with training in mentorship and team you up with a mentee based on your existing skillset. Music mentoring is hugely fulfilling journey that can transform not just your life, but the life of a young person in need of confidence, positive role models and an outlet for their creativity.

Training position in office administration, retail, customer service, sales, cash handling, banking, EFTPOS, sales, accounts pay/rec, marketing, merchandising, stock control, Team Leader/Manager role, HR, etc. No experience required - we train you, fix your resume, teach you interview skills, will be your local referee and give you access to our jobs board. We advertise often as our trainees get jobs regularly and we have helped 941 people to get jobs in the last 11 years!

You will be the face of Universal Kingdom, helping to create a memorable and magical experience for all. Volunteers at the Warburton Waterwheel provide information about local and nearby attractions, serve as cashier for the handmade gift shop stocked with beautiful locally made items, and direct patrons to our gallery exhibiting local artists and artisans.

Our Education Guides play a key role in inspiring and engaging our school and adult visitors by delivering various school education and life-long learning programs.

Our Visitor Experience volunteers bring our 2024 flagship exhibition, Andrew Rogers: Where We Are, and the Museum's permanent galleries, to life. Our volunteers facilitate access to the exhibition, ensure the integrity of the objects on display and connect with our audiences to foster curiosity.

In honour of World Oceans Day 2023, we are celebrating our marine ecosystems at Hawthorne Reserve in Ramsgate for a Sustainable Skincare Making Workshop with Sage Cosmetics Coaching. Join us on our journey to reduce our impact and learn how to create professional-style, zero-waste, natural skincare from scratch. A light catered morning tea will also be provided.
