You will be helping people to connect through regular conversations, digital skills, setting up emails, MyGov accounts, help them with online shopping, possibly setting up their resumes, looking for work etc. You will also connect people with other services like Centrelink, food services, housing, healthcare and counselling.

Empowering people who are experiencing homelessness by creating home cooked meals. All food and containers are provided from our North Parramatta Distribution Centre.

This role is integral to our ability to continue our work and to grow, and is perfect for someone who loves event coordination and will work with the team to ensure all Pre-Event Preparation is done. The Event Coordinator will oversee Signal Flare’s social BBQ gathering on the day of the event, with a limited amount of pre-work to prepare for the day. This role requires a full day on the particular event day, and a preparation time of 1-2 hours per week between events.

Sourcing and applying for grants for Avalon Centre, a centre that is run entirely by volunteers that help those in need.

We are in need of an experienced and competent driver of our little van "The Moving Wardrobe" to take clothes out to the homeless during the day and also at nights. If you have a few hours to spare perhaps you will consider becoming one of our team to help out.

CUDL urgently requires cooks to prepare meals at home for distribution at our street kitchen in Whitmore Square in the city. Volunteers will prepare budget meals at home once a month for collection by one of our team of drivers. Meals will go to the growing number of people in Adelaide experiencing homelessness who, otherwise, would go hungry.
