Cooks required for COOKING 200-400 meals for those that need it most! Every SATURDAY from 9am till 3pm - COOKING, PREPPING, PUTTING FOOD INTO CONTAINERS, CLEANING & SENDING FOOD TO HEADOFFICE AND PLACED IN FRIDGES. All food prepared is refrigerated or frozen and given out to the families! We help and support 1000 families a week!

Our Family Room is designed to be a safe escape from ward environments for Families and sick kids at Sydney Children's hospital. Our Family Rooms truly are not the warm and welcoming spaces they are without our amazing kind hearted Volunteers. In this role you will have the opportunity to make a beautiful difference in our families day by helping to provide countless acts of kindness, much needed food, beverages and our laundry of love service.

Our Dinner Squad provide assistance to our Nedlands House during the busy dinner time period.

We are looking for applicants that are passionate about helping our charity support seriously ill children and their families by becoming a volunteer within our Home Feast Heroes Team. To provide assistance to the Family Liaison Officer in directing and assisting corporate groups to prepare meals for House families.

Volunteers will assist with the Hospitality Cart that will provide practical items, comfort, offer boredom-busters and learning activities such as books, craft activities etc. for families. We will Provide practical care items such as toiletries and comfort items including eye masks, earplugs and socks for parents sleeping bedside, and provide snacks and beverages.

Foodbank is the largest food relief organisation in Australia - providing grocery items to socially disadvantaged people and low income earners. Our local Foodbank need a volunteer Truck Driver to work every Monday to Thursday mornings. The only requirement is a C Class Driver's Licence.

Each month the Albany CWA have a fundraising stall at the CWA Monthly Markets. Volunteers are needed to knit, crochet, sew and/or bake items to be sold on the stall. Other crafts (weaving, tatting etc.) also welcome. CWA will provide materials in consultation with the volunteer. If you would like to help with your crafty ability they would love to hear from you. This could be completed in your own home.

Doorways to Parenting (DTP) is seeking a 'Playgroup Assistant' to provide assistance and support to the two DTP workers during Doorways to Parenting Facilitated Playgroups. This includes assisting with setting up and packing down the playgroup and preparing food for children, supporting the management of handovers between foster carers and DTP staff.
