The Ashburton Community Centre runs a range of activities, classes and courses for the local community. Our office is open Monday – Friday 9am – 2:30pm. We are seeking someone happy to work with the community to develop a resource (printed brochure, poster, content for a web page) that summarises all the sustainable initiatives that are operating along Ashburton High St and surrounds. This will promote environmental outcomes for the local community.

Remembrance Park Central Victoria manages a number of cemeteries in the Bendigo area and is looking for Gardening and Painting volunteers for a variety of tasks. Someone who is friendly and enjoys meeting and talking to people.

Gardener- Do you have a green thumb? A gardener is required to assist in the upkeep of a small community garden.

This role will involve hands on work within a small team of volunteers focusing on maintaining the garden beds within Reynard Street Neighbourhood House and in the adjoining Community Garden where required. This role is a great way to become involved with a meaningful project, while meeting new people, and staying active and involved in your community.

Friends of the Melton Botanic Garden are looking for volunteers to assist with the ongoing maintenance of the gardens.

Volunteers with an interest in the natural environment are needed as general hands, planting trees, weeding and monitoring natural wildlife at Koolunga Native Reserve in Ferntree Gully once a month.
