Volunteer with people with Down syndrome in a fun exercise program FitSkills FitSkills is an evidence-based physical activity program for people with Down syndrome. In this program the person with Down syndrome will be matched with a volunteer partner. Together they will exercise at their local gym, fitness centre or health club. The program runs for 10 weeks per term and participants go to the gym together once a week followed by a meal with other participants and volunteers.

RDA Harvey are a charity providing therapeutic interactions with horses for people with a wide range of disabilities. If working with horses is your thing, then our highly qualified coach will train you, otherwise there are many other positions available to help with the running our organisation. New friendships, joy, motivation, mental and physical wellbeing are on offer if you join us, come try and see for yourself!

ADventure Out is a fun Disability Social group for people with mild to moderate disabilities, operating in the St George and Sutherland Shire. We go out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to a variety of outings like barbecues, movies, clubs, ferry trips etc. If you are up for a chat and a cuppa with our lovely group and can commit to a day or two a week, we would love to have you onboard. This is a really rewarding experience as you brighten up someones day !

Are you interested in assisting a Social Support Group of people that have Autism? The position is assisting the Group Leader during various activities by supervising the participants. Experience with Autism is not essential but you must be able to demonstrate a willingness to adapt as required. If you are currently studying disability, social work, youth work, community services, education, psychology, counselling, speech pathology or OT, we offer placements to complete your practicum.
