Volunteer Group Assistant
About this opportunity
A diverse position assisting the Group Leader during various activities by supervising participants. Following directions and guidelines outlined by the Group Leader. Preparing materials and setting environment for activities and packing up after activities. Encourage participants to interact with one another. Encourage participants to participate in activities. Build rapport with participants. Record weekly observations, goals and case notes for 3 participants throughout the term. At times, if required and applicable to you, providing transport to outings for participants.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Ability to autonomously engage participants.
Ability to care for children/teenagers/young adults with a disability.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 4.30pm - 7.30pm
