You do not need to have horse experience to volunteer at APRDA but you could pick up some horse experience by volunteering with us. We are seeking people to assist us with our horse based activities. Maintenance Workers are responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and premises as well as ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. Ideally you would have some experience or sound handyman skills. The role can require a level of physical stamina from time to time, so you need to possess manual dexterity. To assist at our Lawn Bowls activity every Monday except public holidays (from 10am to 12noon). As this role requires you to potentially push members in wheelchairs or who require walking frames you will need to be physically fit. Knowledge of bowls a bonus.
