We are seeking volunteers who speak Italian to provide companionship to elderly residents at a nursing home. Language and cultural barriers often leave seniors feeling isolated. Your presence and conversation can brighten their day. Join us in making a meaningful difference!

Transport Volunteers support prisoners and offenders in the community by transporting them to: * medical appointments * job interviews & job network agencies appointments * rehabilitation programs * supervision appointments * housing appointments * plus many other areas of support unique to individual offenders.

The Open Support Community Companion Program offers one to one phone calls to people experiencing social isolation and/or loneliness. This volunteer role offers companionship and social support based on the Open Support values of Compassion, Dignity, Excellence, Justice and Unity.
