The objective of this role is to: * promote playgroups * support the playgroup facilitators * ensure programs are operating within the Australian Government Playgroup Program Guidelines. Woodcroft Morphett Vale Neighbourhood Centre needs a volunteer for the Literacy Group they host from 9 am until 12 pm (plus planning time). If you like to plan, implement and review activities and are keen to maintain communication between the Literacy Group, Tutors and the Management Committee, this may be the right role for you!

Do you have a passion for food and helping the community? Do you enjoy working within a team? The Community Kitchen provide meals to community at a cheap price. Within this role, you may have an opportunity for some training by a qualified chef! The role consists of one full day per fortnight (Thurs) when a community lunch is prepared and served and alternate half days each fortnight (Thursday) for menu preparation and team meetings. As the Volunteer Kitchen Team Leader, you will lead a team of kitchen volunteers in the: * planning * shopping * preparation * and serving of a community lunch each fortnight whilst adhering to safe food practices. You will also be able to demonstrate sustainability & environmental practices by composting kitchen waste.

Are you available on a Wednesday? Do you like the thought of helping out 'Front of House'? As the Cafe 175 Assistant Volunteer, you will be assisting the Kitchen Manager to provide meals to the customers. You will: * serve tea and coffee to customers in a timely manner * ensure supplies are maintained * follow safe food handling & storage directives * take and deliver customer orders * clear & clean tables after each setting * follow instructions
