Supervise a small group gathering of 8-10 people.
Once a week during the Football/Soccer Season a number of Residents can meet in the lounge area and enjoy watching sport on the large screen TV. With refreshments and nibbles Residents, family and friends can enjoy each others company and watch their favourite games. Discussion can be encouraged and appropriate banter can be displayed by the Volunteers.
A Dutch game played by people as they experienced family time in their past.
Talking 'one on one' with each Resident about any subject the Resident chooses.
Residents have extremely interesting histories and love to speak as someone listens.
Reading the paper for Residents and encouraging discussion of personal opinions and views in a safe environment.
This group is looking for interesting subjects and newsy information, and to meet weekly in the early evening.
