MiCare is looking for a friendly individual to contribute as a volunteer at our local Coffee shop. Our coffee shop is designed for the families and friends of our Aged Care residents, providing a cosy environment for them to spend quality time together close to their homes.

Would you like to join a “Happy Hour” at an aged care home? mecwacare currently has an opportunity for a volunteer, a couple, or perhaps two friends with a spare hour or two on a Friday afternoon, to give to our elderly community members to support their independence.

Meals on Wheels (MOW) volunteers play an integral role transporting nutritious meals from a MOW meal provider to older people in our communities. For many MOW recipients, the volunteer is the only person they see that day, so the service also plays a vital role in social connection and monitoring wellbeing of older people. If you are a caring and compassionate individual with a vehicle, a drivers' licence, and a desire to help people, then we would love to hear from you!
