The Volunteers Hub at Diamond Valley Community Support is advertising this volunteer role on behalf of Lower Plenty Dance Group, a small not-for-profit volunteer organization running live and online weekly dance for people with intellectual disabilities. Community Visitors uphold the Human Rights of people living in supported care. They visit accommodation facilities and monitor and report on the adequacy of services provided. This role is ideally suited to individuals who are able to visit during day-time hours or late afternoons and who can make a commitment of two years. Training will be provided to support you in the role.
