Our ambition is to promote, protect and restore the coastal environment of the Victor Harbor area. Our main area of work is from The Bluff to Hayborough.

The Nixon Skinner Conservation Park comprises of 8 hectares of native vegetation and is situated towards the southern end of the Myponga Reservoir. The park is an island of native vegetation in a picturesque setting, framed by the Myponga Reservoir and pine plantations. Working bees are held on the first Friday of each month commencing at 9.00 am.

This position will suit a person who's contented to work alone, who enjoys being outside in the fresh air and working in a peaceful environment. This role would also suit a person who has a love for nature and gardening. If you are someone who finds satisfaction in keeping everything looking nice, a way to keep fit and healthy, this is the role for you. Days and Times are flexible to suit the Volunteer!

ECOSS thrives on the wonderful input from our Volunteers. It would be very difficult for ECOSS to develop and progress the way we do without our Volunteers. From working in the nursery and in our gardens. including the Community Garden, helping with our projects and events to helping in the office, our volunteers give a large amount of time. We value your skills and would love to create opportunities that interest you. We like to provide co-learning opportunities for skill sharing.

Commitment is bi-monthly for 2hour daytime meetings. LCN Native Plant Nursery is a Bunbury based native plant nursery that propagates and supplies quality native plants to gardens and rehabilitation projects in South West WA. We are currently seeking volunteer Cuttings Assistants.
