Garden - Assistant to Head Gardener.

In 1954, Camp Toukley was established on Sydney’s Central Coast and was gradually built by volunteers into a large campsite near the beautiful Canton Beach. We are passionate about enriching the lives of all who attend our centres, and we do this by providing fun and adventure-based outdoor learning experiences, where values such as leadership, teamwork and resilience are taught.
We are looking for someone to assist our Head Gardener with the maintenance and gardening 2 days a week. Duties may include:
Raising plants from seeds or cuttings Digging, planting & weeding flower beds & boarders Pruning shrubs Applying nutrients to plants & maintaining moisture levels Using machinery such as lawn mowers; hedgers; etc Cleaning & maintaining tools & equipment

Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Would suit a mature aged person who loves gardening. Needs to complete a Safe Ministries Training course. Covid-19 vaccination is recommended but is not mandatory.
2 days a week - flexible. Has Centrelink approval
