About this opportunity
Baptistcare’s Music Connection Program aims to provide individual residents with a playlist of their music that connects them with their past and who they are. These are downloaded onto ipods that enable the person to share their music and their memories with others. This technology has proved very successful in enriching the lives of our residents, particularly those with dementia.
We are seeking individuals who are able to spend time connecting with our residents in Margaret River through the music that is special to them. You will be giving people living in aged care, an opportunity to enjoy songs from their past. You will be contributing to their sense of belonging and help to prevent the social isolation that often results from living in an aged care facility.
