Gallery Attendant
About this opportunity
Undertake guided tours of the Museum as necessary. Undertake Gallery Attendant duties in allocated gallery, as per roster. Meet and greet, and interact with members of the public. Answer visitor questions, as required. Direct visitors to appropriate services (i.e. toilet, water fountain, seats disabled facilities etc). Other duties as directed.
NB All volunteers begin as Museum Attendant to become familiar with processes. Other positions may be made avaialble after familiarisation is complete.
Your commitment to volunteering at the Museum is highly valued by Army Museum North Queensland, the Australian Army History Unit and the Australian Defence Force. The role of volunteers is important in enhancing Museum activities and providing programs and services that would not otherwise be available.
Additional requirements
Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Can communicate effectively and has good interpersonal skills.
Is positive and enthusiastic - Is well organised.

Gallery open times Wednesday's, Friday's and Sunday's 9am - 1pm
