Seniors Activity Assistant/Companion

About this opportunity

Be the much needed support for our therapy team as you work alongside them to provide enriching activities to our residents.

There are many ways you can give us a helping hand:

  • A round of board games
  • A chat
  • Join in on reminiscence sessions
  • Catch up on the news

Or...

  • Have a chat with our resident as you walk them to their meal time or a shopping centre
  • Accompany a carer on a shopping trip with two residents.

There is also an opportunity to drive our bus (LR or above licence required).

Whichever way you wish to help out, you'll be making a real difference to the lives of our residents.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. NDIS screening check .

A commitment of one day or half day a week is required over the medium term of a few months minimum, as well as having a caring disposition, patience and a respectful attitude to our residents.
Special experience with craft, singalongs and playing an instrument will always come in handy. Please also tell us if you are fluent in a language other than English.
If interested in driving our bus – a LR or above licence is required.

Time Required

One day a week generally commencing 9:30am depending on role (several hours per day)
