Activities Helper
About this opportunity
Your assistance enables resident participation in a broad range of activities, such as bingo, quizzes, crafts, group walks and light physical activities. The Activity Helper role involves: • setting up resources for group activities • encouraging residents to attend activities • accompanying residents to-and-from activity areas • supporting resident participation throughout activities • engaging socially with residents • assisting to clear resources upon activity completion. This role significantly contributes to residents’ sense of social connection and enables their participation in enjoyable, stimulating activities that are tailored to their needs and interests.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for interacting with our residents and team. Flexibility and adaptability are key traits for navigating this highly-varied role.
Monday - Friday, Activities commence around 9am and finish at around 4:30pm. This role is flexible based on volunteer availability.
