Handcare & Nails Volunteer
About this opportunity
We are currently seeking interested people to become hand care volunteers at our Taren Point village. Hand care volunteers provide a gentle hand massage whilst having a chat with some of our fascinating residents. Volunteers may also paint residents' nails.
This program is so much more than just hand care! It is about communication, relaxation, self esteem, social contact and sharing stories.
Volunteers also benefit from providing this service by offering ongoing companionship and support to residents, adding to their quality of life.
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. NDIS screening check .
time to suit volunteer & resident - typically between 9.30-12 & 1.30-4
