Volunteer Client Support in Respite Centre
About this opportunity
Your Role would be to sit with clients and engage in conversation. Take them for a stroll around the respite garden. Sit with clients in the patio area - weather permitting. Take time to play games - cards,scrabble, dominoes. Assist by collecting dishes,serving meals and cleaning up.
Additional requirements
Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable: Experience in working with the elderly and/ or people with disabilities.
Time Required
10am to 3pm weekdays
