Referral Officer, Admin and HR

Community Services Regular - more than 6 months Midland WA, Ellenbrook WA, Bullsbrook WA

About this opportunity

You will be interviewing prospective volunteers and referring them to appropriate volunteer roles in our community. Post interview, you will be covering follow up calls and emails to ensure positive outcomes for both the volunteer client and the organisations to whom you have referred. We also have an online referral process that requires daily email response and ongoing follow up with clients. You'll find this a really valuable and meaningful volunteer experience.

All training is provided, but Microsoft Office and database experience is required. A significant component of this role is computer based.

As part of the team, there are a range of additional hands on and admin roles to be covered to keep the service ticking along.

Team meetings are held 4 times a year and there will be additional training from time to time. It is expected that you will make every effort to attend these sessions.

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *.

Must enjoy customer service and have a happy and helpful disposition.

• Well developed interpersonal and communication skills,
• computer literate and happy following through with process
• Ability to work independently
• Punctual and reliable

Ideally someone with knowledge of the Not for Profit Sector and/or the Recruitment industry. However, you will learn on the job and be given support and all the necessary resources to cover the role with confidence.

We would be looking for a minimum of 6 months commitment.

Time Required

Opportunities exist on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in Midland or Wednesday in Ellenbrook or Thursday in Bullsbrook Generally from 10am - 4pm, but shorter hours will be considered.
