About this opportunity

To be able to visit the resident a minimum of once per fortnight for a minimum of one hour. This position will enable friendships to form with the resident over time while providing a sense of social connectedness. Days and times negotiable.

Benefits: To build a relationship with a resident on a one to one basis.

Training: Orientation and ongoing support. Bi-monthly meetings.

Notes: Have good communication skills. An interest in, and understanding of older people.

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *.
