Volunteer Driver
About this opportunity
Drive senior citizens and people with disabilities on a shared ride, door to door pickup in supplied vehicles to various venues across the Gold Coast. Provide assistance to people entering and exiting vehicles and requires confident communication, patience and consideration for our clients when driving them to various venues across the Gold Coast.
Collect keys and a run sheet from our friendly office staff at the beginning of each shift.
Shifts from 7.00am to 4.30pm 1-2 days per week.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.
Must have current clean drivers licence.
Assistance is provided with obtaining Queensland Transport Driver Authorisation, Federal Police check and NDIS workers screening clearance (formerly yellow card).
Must be prepared to attend induction, ongoing training in CPR/First Aid, Manual Handling, WHS and additional workshops essential to the driving role.
Shifts starting from 7.00 am & finishing up to 4.30 pm 1-2 days per week.
