Would you like to support individuals to gain more access to essential services within their community? Do you want to make a meaningful difference to someone who is elderly or socially isolated to enable them to be able to continue living independently in their own homes? Become a volunteer shopper and make a difference in someone's life!
As a Volunteer Shopper some of the tasks could include: • Assist your client/s with their grocery shopping • Shop on behalf of your client/s • Provide social support, friendly companionship and conversation to your client/s • Take your client out to a social setting for a cup of coffee
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Vulnerable People Check .
Volunteer shoppers are required to use their own vehicles. Some reimbursements can be available if required.
Good communication and social skills
Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.
