Recreation Program Support for children & adults

About this opportunity

We need enthusiastic volunteers to have fun supporting children & adults with a disability, from aged 5 to adult, with a wide range of social & recreational programs at various times on weekends, & during school holidays. You don’t need any special qualifications or experience! Under the supervision of qualified staff, you will be supporting and encouraging our participants to engage in recreation programs. You choose the days & times that you can volunteer on a term by term basis. Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to gain experience for a potential career as a Support Worker in this field, or in other areas such as OT, Speech Therapy, nursing, teaching or psychology.

Attend the initial interview and have a genuine interest to work with people with a disability. Applicants are required to undergo referee checks, a WWCC, an NDIS Worker Screening Check (both are free for volunteers), and attend an orientation session.
