About this opportunity
RSPCA NSW is searching for a compassionate individual to join our dedicated Sydney Foster Care team where you'll have the chance to work alongside our coordinators and our superstar Foster Carers, providing essential assistance to ensure our animals in foster receive the care and support they need until they are ready to be adopted into loving forever homes.
RSPCA NSW’s Foster Care program provides temporary homes to animals who need a helping hand. This might be because these animals are too small or young to be adopted, recovering from illness or surgery, are undergoing rehabilitation or even just finding the shelter environment too stressful.
What are the tasks?
Preparing and organising supplies for carers prior to their arrival
Updating animal records, including treatments, movements into foster care, uploading photos and foster care notes
Updating adoption cards and foster forms to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
Conducting regular check-ins with foster carers via phone or email, providing support and address concerns
Desexing and vaccination reminders to foster carers via phone or email

Additional requirements
Heavy Lifting . National Police Certificate *.
We are looking for people who can volunteer on Thursday, Friday or Saturday between 9.30am – 1.30pm.
