About this opportunity
We are looking for volunteers to assist the STEPS Pathways College trainers with our Boarding College students in and outside of the classroom.
What you will be doing:
- Provide guidance, mentoring and support to students with home maintenance and cooking skills
- Assist in the classroom facilitating small group activities, tutoring, reviewing class work
- Accompany Trainers and students on community outings, to assist with skill building required for independent living
If you currently hold Working with Disability and Working with Children cards is an advantage. STEPS can assist with applying for relevant security checks.
