About this opportunity
Your role will be crucial to the running and promotion of the event and Fresh Start. Through your expertise you can use this as experience if you are a student or as a way to give back as a professional. Your role would be to ensure the capturing of the night and providing people with opportunity for photos which will be released to the media and on our socials. Events like this bring out the warmth, tenderness and passion in people which makes for great photos and people like to be captured in their moments of giving back to the community and you will play that special role.
If you have ideas, bring them to the table. This role will be a collaborative role with the Event coordinator, Emmaly, where you have a bit of freedom to experiment and suggest ideas.
We are looking for a people who are reliable, easy going and energetic. You may be working with another photographer/videographer so teamwork will make the dream work, if one loves taking candid shots of crowds and the other group photos or presenter shots this is your chance to work collaboratively with another photographer. Tasks: - Capture the event through photos - (as this is a ticketed event we will know who people are so no need to write down names) Training and onboarding: Required: at least one catch up before the event to ensure smooth running Benefits: You will gain experience working in a role that needs professionalism and the ability to direct guests for photos. Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *.
- a minimum of 6.30pm - 10.30pm on the evening. If you would like to come early and take photos/videos during set up you are welcome to. - one meeting pre-event to run through schedule for smooth running, approx 1-2 hours
