Caring Meal Delivery Driver - only 2hrs a week or fortnight!

Community Services Regular - less than 6 months Across: Runcorn QLD, Kuraby QLD, Stretton QLD, Sunnybank Hills QLD, Underwood QLD

About this opportunity

Caring Cuisine plays a vital role enabling older Australians to enjoy living independently in the familiar surroundings and comfort of their own home.

As a not-for-profit charity, in order to support our clients we rely on a large team of volunteers to deliver meals and conduct welfare checks. Chatting for a few minutes whilst delivering healthy fresh food helps cut through social isolation and provides peace of minds to clients and their loved ones.

Each shift starts at10:30am and typically takes 1.5 – 2 hours only.

The role is very easy to learn - if you can drive and are up for a chat with other locals then you can do this!

Due how easy it is to learn this role, volunteers are welcome even if you can only do shifts as a once off volunteer occasion - we are very flexible depending on your availability! On-the shift training is provided by our Volunteer Coordinator and other experienced volunteers.

To succeed in this rewarding role all you need is a current drivers licence, own vehicle and a friendly disposition to meet and greet fellow local community members!
