About this opportunity

About the Program Noarlunga Library seeks a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer to assist with our Early Literacy Program. The role will work closely with staff to run our Early Literacy events, which include Baby Time, Story Time, and Toddler Time.

Key Tasks:

  • Arranging furniture and equipment
  • Assisting with engaging attendees and building relationships with our families
  • Embracing technologies associated with the sessions.

Skills/Knowledge/Personal Qualities:

  • Keen interests in Children, families and early literacy
  • Creative
  • Friendly and personable.

Time Commitment Thursday and Wednesday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Special Requirements:

  • Must possess and provide a current Department of Human Services (DHS) “Not Prohibited” Working with Children Check.
  • Attend Child Safe Environment training. (These can be organised for you)
