Volunteer Musicians, Singers and Entertainers, Residential Aged Care Home, Scone

Seniors & Aged Care Regular - more than 6 months Scone NSW

About this opportunity

Share your love of music with our residents by bringing your own instrument or lead a sing-along. We'd welcome a range of musical styles and it can be an opportunity for our residents to sing along with you. We welcome a range of musical styles, from classical, jazz, country, rock'n'roll and popular hits from the 1930's onwards.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.
