Volunteer IT Service Level Manager

About this opportunity

Vic ICT for Women is looking for a volunteer Service Level Manager who will manage the relationship between multiple IT vendors who support the organisation and lead a team of 2nd level support volunteers to continue to provide a high level of service to the organisation.

This role reports into the Volunteer CIO

Duties include:

  • Building strong relationship with vendors

  • Onboard new volunteers and build a team of volunteer 2nd level support engineers

  • document and implement processes to ensure support is maintained

  • document process to ensure that digital services are updated and processes adhered to

  • Support the 2nd level engineers during incidents and communicate to key stakeholders

Additional requirements

If the volunteer wishes to participate in the Go Girl event (not a requirement) then a working with children check is required.

Time Required

The first 6-8 weeks of this engagement will require up to 10-12 hours per week as the volunteer learns the organisation and is on-boarded. From this time it is estimated that 6-8 hours per week would be required. Days worked will be up to the volunteer. The organisation is very flexible.
