If you enjoy taking people to new and fun places, touring around Melbourne and chatting with and listening to stories from our older generation, this could be the perfect Volunteer role for you.
You must have an Australian driver's licence and good driving record to fulfill this role as our Residents are precious to us and we look after them carefully.
If you think that you would enjoy taking a mini bus full of our residents to new places with another staff member to help, then we want to hear from you (Baptcare vehicle).
The role you undertake has significant impact for our residents who are deeply grateful and appreciative of the time and service you give.
At present we need someone who can Volunteer on either Wednesday or Thursday (or both days!).

Additional requirements
Driver's Licence (F) . National Police Certificate *.
Baptcare will pay for your National Criminal History Check (if obtained through us).
We recommend Flu vaccination and have a free annual vaccination program. COVID Vaccinations a preferred but not mandated
We require a bus driver on Wednesday & Thursday (or both days) for resident outings.

As a Baptcare Bus Driving Volunteer you will be provided with an induction to support your knowledge of our bus together with a Site Induction. Additional training opportunities may be offered.
