Walk to Defeat MND - Burswood Park 2024
About this opportunity
All proceeds from our Walk to Defeat MND will go towards our specialised care and support services. As you may or may not know, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressive neurological disease whereby a person's neurones undergo degeneration and die, robbing them of their ability to move, speak, eat and eventually breathe. There is no known cause, treatment or cure and the survival rate is zero. MNDAWA is the specialist care and support organisation for people living with MND providing a MND Advisory Service, education and information sessions, equipment and other funding options. We also contribute a portion of our funds to MND Research Australia (MNDRA) to assist researchers to finding a cause, treatment and cure so we can achieve our vision of living in a world free of MND.
Sunday 5 May 2024 Volunteers are required for the following: SET UP - 7.00am to 9.00am ROUTE MARSHALS - 10.00am to 12.30pm GENERAL - 9.00am - 1.30pm PACK DOWN - from 12.00pm
