Volunteer Digital Marketing Role

About the Role

This is a volunteer role based in Victoria. Successful applicants should allocate 6 to 10 hours per week and understand that some weeks or months will be busier than others. You will report to the Chief Marketing/ Social Media Officer and will utilise your skills to support the organisation and its various programs.

The role is ongoing and is remote.

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for volunteers with skills in the following areas. If you have experience in ANY of these, we encourage you to apply. It is not necessary for you to be proficient in all these areas, we have multiple roles available in this space.

  • WordPress website experience. Tasks may include updating website pages and imagery.
  • Monday CRM experience.
  • Social media content creation including writing LinkedIn posts, posting to Facebook and Instagram, and creating image and video content using Canva.
  • Graphic design, access to Adobe creative suite an advantage.
  • Photography and/or videography skills with the ability to attend the occasional Melbourne CBD based event to capture footage.
  • Postproduction editing skills in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premier and access to these programs.

These roles are perfect for students, recent graduates or ANYBODY who is looking to build their resume and portfolio whilst supporting gender diversity and making a difference for women in STEM. If you have any experience in any of the above areas, we encourage you to apply.

If the volunteer wishes to participate in the Go Girl event (not a requirement) then a working with children check is required.
