Emergency Response Regular - more than 6 months Yarram VIC

About this opportunity

Who we are

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer-based organisation, providing emergency assistance to minimise the impact of emergencies and strengthen the community’s capacity to plan, respond and recover, when emergencies occur. We are the control agency for flood, storm, tsunami, earthquake and landslide throughout Victoria, and provide the largest Road Crash Rescue network in Australia, with specialist teams in 104 of our 150 units across the state.

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join VICSES Yarram Unit, and help us keep our communities safe during times of emergencies and natural disasters.

Volunteering with VICSES

As a VICSES volunteer, you'll have the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of others. Whether it's responding to floods, storms, or other emergencies, you'll be on the front lines, providing essential support and assistance to those in need.

You'll receive comprehensive training to equip you with the skills required to handle challenging situations with confidence. You'll be part of a close-knit team of like-minded individuals, working together to protect and support our community when it matters most.
